Esperanza Azteca

Outstanding and Successful Educational Model Orchestra/School for Young Musicians, Pride of Mexico

"Music has the ability to bring human beings closer, to create bonds of identity and harmony. This sense of belonging to something bigger than ourselves. Being part of the Orquesta y Coro Esperanza Azteca allows children and young people to visualize a better future."
?Ricardo B. Salinas Pliego.

The ISMEA Orquesta Sinfónica y Coro has forged, throughout its 12 years, a solid reputation as an important musical institution in Mexico. Directed by renowned international conductors such as Valery Gergiev and Plácido Domingo, the Orquesta has shared the stage with brilliant soloists, such as Paquito D'Rivera and Yo-Yo Ma. Its repertoire ranges from Beethoven's symphonies to masterpieces by Stravinsky and Mozart, highlighting its impeccable execution and for serving as a platform for talented students who perform as soloists.

The Orquesta Sinfónica y Coro offers its students a space for harmonious vocal and interpretative development and teamwork. Their participation in national and international festivals and tours demonstrates their commitment to excellence on a global level.

In 2023, the Orquesta Esperanza Azteca Camerata had an outstanding performance during their tour in Switzerland, and the Chamber Choir won two Diplomas de Oro at the Festival Internacional de Coros de Barcelona. These prestigious recognitions highlight musical excellence and the ability of students to excel on global stages, consolidating the institution as a notable representative of Mexican music internationally and as a vital force in Mexico.
