Innocenti is graduated in Electronic Engineering in 1979 from the University of Florence (UNIFI) with a thesis in Teoria e Tecniche Radar (in English Radar Theory and Techniques).
Since 1979, he is Executive and later President and CEO of a Company operating in the field of electric energy, renewable sources and electric car power supply.
He served as National President of Assobeton, prefabricated section, belonging to Confindustria (General Confederation of Italian Industry).
In the political field, he has served as Town Planning Councillor from 2006 to 2011 and, since October 18, 2021, he is Mayor of the City of Sansepolcro.
