Tomás Humberto Rubio
Leader in the Field of Accounting and Administration, and Administrative Secretary of the UNAM
Rubio Pérez is an outstanding academic who graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he obtained his Bachelors degree in Accounting and his Masters degree in Administration. He has dedicated more than sixteen years of his career to the same institution. His trajectory includes key roles as Coordinator of Diploma Programs, General Secretary of the School of Accounting and Administration (FCA), and Director of the same school.
He currently serves as Administrative Secretary of UNAM. He has been recognized for his commitment to educational excellence, leading the creation of innovative programs and promoting gender equality.
In 2007, he received the "Dr. Gustavo Baz Prada" Social Service Award for his advice to a group of young people from the FCA-UNAM. He is the author of the books Gobernabilidad, protección de derechos fundamentales y fiscalización de su cumplimiento and El reto de las organizaciones educativas de nivel superior del área económico-administrativa de México y América Latina en un entorno de desarrollo sostenible.
His influence also extends to the professional field, where he chairs the Consejo Nacional Directivo de la Asociación Nacional de Facultades y Escuelas de Contaduría y Administración (ANFECA) and actively participates in the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP).
