
Paolo Capitanucci
Professor and Philosopher at the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences of Assisi
Paolo Capitanucci teaches History of Philosophy and Introduction to Franciscan Thought at the Istituto Teologico di Assisi and History of Philosophy at the Istituto Superiore di Scienze Religiose di Assisi.
For some time now, he has been conducting research on the relationship between philosophy, theology, the sciences of the body and care with particular reference to the Franciscan sphere at the turn of the Medieval and Modern Ages. He has also been collaborating for years with the historic Biblioteca del Sacro Convento di Assisi.
He is author of the book Luoghi, Figure E Itinerari Della Restaurazione in Umbria 1815-1830: Nuove Prospettive Di Ricerca (in English Figures and Itineraries of the Restoration in Umbria 1815-1830: New Perspectives of Research) and of the journal articles "Francescani e alchimia nel XIII secolo. La madre terra si prende cura dell'uomo malato" (in English "Franciscans and Alchemy in the 13th Century.
