Alfredo Adam
Former Director of the School of Accounting and Administration of the UNAM, and Educational Projects Planter
Doctor in Management Sciences and public accountant from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Adam Adam has worked for more than five decades in various areas of his professional specialization, contributing to the development of public, social and private institutions, trade associations and, of course, UNAM, where he was Director of the School of Accounting and Administration (FCA) on two occasions and has been Professor Emeritus since 2001.
At UNAM, he was also President of the Asociación Nacional de Facultades y Escuelas de Contaduría y Administración (ANFECA), Member of the Consejo Universitario, Member of the Junta de Gobierno, and President of the Patronato Universitario de la Comisión de Presupuesto and the Comisión de Vigilancia Administrativa, among other functions and positions. He is currently General Coordinator of the University Seminar on Governance and Oversight (SUG).
His academic production is extensive. He has published several books such as Auditoría al desempeño en México; Gobernabilidad y fiscalización: reflexiones críticas sobre sus bases conceptuales, retos y perspectivas; Cultura de integridad pública y combate a la corrupción and Gobernabilidad, protección de derechos fundamentales y fiscalización de su cumplimiento, among others. He has also published in notebooks and more than 50 articles in specialized journals, thus strengthening the work of the accounting profession.
