Jorge Nikaido
Head of the President's Office at Grupo Salinas
Nikaido is a Mexican businessman with more than 30 years of experience in management positions in the business sector, as well as being an entrepreneur and passionate about culture and the arts. He is a graduate in Public Administration and Political Science, both from the Ibero-American University.
Since 1995 he has been involved in the restaurant industry, in addition to being a member of the Board of Directors of the family business in the field of mushroom commercialization to Japan; for the last 10 years he has been a partner of Aromaria.
From 1996 to 1998, he was Director of Operations of the Presidency and, since 1998, he has served as Head of the Office of the Presidency, both positions in Grupo Salinas. He is also in charge of managing the administration of the companys real estate and personal property assets.
In the field of culture and the arts, Nikaido serves as director, mentor and curator of Ricardo Salinas Pliegos private art and bibliographic collections; he is also a member of Grupo Salinas Consejo de Arte y Cultura, a trustee of the Modern Art Museum in Mexico City and a member of the Consejo Asesor de las Letras Mexicanas at the Miguel de Cervantes Virtual Library, in Spain.
